Peace Action 2026: silent human chain for peace on September 21st in Vienna!<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The topic of peace continues to be an essential one in 2026. Therefore, in cooperation with the initiator ISCTH<\/strong>, another silent human chain for peace with hundreds of participants took place again on the World Day of Peace, this time at Am Hof in the first district in Vienna. This year, I have found a great main partner in the Jane Goodall Institute Austria<\/strong>. As part of the Roots & Shoots program, children make doves of peace every year in numerous partner schools of the organization, which they presented to the participants on this occasion. A lasting memory of a beautiful event under the sign of peace that people around the world want. After 8 minutes in hand in hand in silence, peace songs were sung together. <\/p>\n

This initiative has once again brought together around 500 people from all generations and social sectors, including around 400 children and young people, to set a sign of peace together. Because there is no (sustainable) future without peace!<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Together with the Swiss foundation ISCTH, initiator of the #IamPeace initiative, and numerous other organizations, we are setting an example and participating in the #IamPeace Human Chains 2025. With two large silent human chains, a powerful symbol of cohesion and understanding was sent out into the world. Main rehearsal on May 10, 2025: A first human chain along the Prater Hauptallee. World record attempt on 21 September 2025 (International Day of Peace) <\/strong>
\nHundreds of people joined hand in hand again in a silent human chain, this time at Vienna’s Heldenplatz (next to the equestrian monument in the direction of Volksgarten). A symbolic action that attracted widespread attention and focused on Vienna as a city of peace. Together with numerous partner organisations, we mobilised all those for whom peace is also a matter close to their hearts. This initiative is intended to bring together people from all walks of life every year to set a sign of peace together. Because there is no (sustainable) future without peace!<\/strong><\/p>\n
